:: Good Bug :: Bad Bug ::

What's eating you? We've got white cabbage moth, snails & slugs, earwigs & mealy bugs at times, and a recent nest of European Wasps. But we've also got bees, fungus eating ladybugs and various other 'good bugs' hanging around too. Thankfully, it's a bug-eat-bug world! I have also given the seedlings some Seasol to strengthen them and build their resistance, plus we are growing various flowers and herbs to either repel or distract the bad bugs, or attract and feed the predator bugs. It's a constant challenge, and learning curve, and a matter of picking our battles sometimes. And not feeling bad when fling the snails onto the path, knowing the ants will be eating them later... need to get some chickens!
